Working as an Influencer in Poland: Contract, Sole Proprietorship or Unregistered Activity?

Creators working in Poland do not always need to register a business. A contract, unregistered activity or a sole proprietorship can fit different situations — each changes tax, social-security and documentation obligations.

Contract with a company

For a one-off campaign, a company may contract directly with a creator. The contract should reflect the real work, deliverables, payment and rights to the content.

Unregistered activity

This can suit small activity that meets statutory conditions. In 2026 its quarterly revenue limit is PLN 10,813.50. It does not remove income-tax or record-keeping duties.

Sole proprietorship

A sole proprietorship is often more practical for regular client work and larger budgets, but brings ongoing accounting and registration responsibilities.

Choose based on the real circumstances, and obtain individual accounting advice before committing.
